Our Correction Commitment

At ImageConverterTools, we are committed to maintaining accurate, reliable, and trustworthy content. Despite our best efforts, errors can occasionally occur. When they do, we respond promptly and transparently to correct them.

How to Report Errors

If you find an error, inaccuracy, or outdated information on our website, you can report it through the following channels:

When reporting an error, please include:

Review & Correction Process

When an error is reported, we follow a structured review process:

Step 1: Acknowledgment

We acknowledge receipt of your error report within 48 hours (usually much sooner).

Step 2: Investigation

We investigate the reported issue to determine whether an error actually exists. This includes:

• Checking the source material
• Comparing against authoritative references
• Testing any tool-related claims
• Consulting relevant documentation

Step 3: Correction

If an error is confirmed, we correct it immediately. The correction process includes:

• Fixing the inaccurate content
• Updating any related content that may be affected
• Adding a correction note if the error was significant
• Updating the "Last Updated" date on the page

Step 4: Follow-Up

We notify the person who reported the error that it has been corrected (if they provided contact information).

Types of Corrections

Different types of errors require different correction approaches:

• Minor Typographical Errors: Spelling mistakes, grammar errors, and punctuation issues are corrected silently. A formal correction notice is not required for minor typos.
• Factual Errors: Incorrect technical specifications, wrong resolution requirements, or inaccurate tool descriptions are corrected and noted with a correction notice.
• Outdated Information: Content that becomes outdated due to platform changes, format updates, or policy changes is updated with the new information and an update note.
• Significant Errors: Major errors that could mislead users are corrected immediately and prominently noted with a correction notice at the top of the affected content.

Correction Notifications

When significant corrections are made, we add a notice to the affected content. The notice includes:

• A description of what was corrected
• The date the correction was made
• The original error (for transparency)
• The corrected information

We aim to respond to all error reports within the following timeframes:

• Acknowledgment of Report: Within 48 hours
• Initial Investigation: Within 3 business days
• Minor Corrections: Within 3-5 business days
• Factual Errors: Within 5-7 business days
• Significant Errors: As soon as possible (typically within 24-48 hours of confirmation)
• Complex Issues: May take longer if additional research or testing is required

Error Prevention Measures

We take proactive steps to minimize errors in our content:

• Editorial Review: All content undergoes review before publication (see our Editorial Policy).
• Fact-Checking: Technical claims are verified against authoritative sources.
• Hands-On Testing: Tool descriptions and tutorials are tested hands-on before publication.
• Regular Content Audits: All content is reviewed periodically to identify outdated information.
• Peer Review: Content is reviewed by at least one additional person before going live.
